Makualla Ski-In
	Crescent Lake

Each year, Troop 21 likes to schedule a ski-in winter camp. Some years, it might be the Crater Lake rim trail. Other years, it might be in the Cascade Lakes Basin. This year, Troop 21 teamed up with Troop 27 to ski in to BSA Camp Makualla on the south shore of Crescent Lake in the high Cascades of Central Oregon. Gear was hauled in by snowmobile, and the boys followed on skis, making there way along the 5 mile road to the camp. The mess hall was made available to the Troops, so the boys had cooking facilities and a woodstove (such luxury!). All the boys reported a great time, and many earned the Snow Sports merit badge that weekend.
