BSA Troop 21
Eagle Scouts

Eagle Scout Requirements

Eagle Scout is the highest rank a young man can achieve in the Scouting program. It is the culmination of years of learning, hard work, citizenship, self-sacrifice, community service, and leadership - and is recognized throughout the world as a symbol of these qualities. It is no surprise that among Presidents of the United States, members of Congress, astronauts, military leaders, and prominent Americans in business and industry - that one will find many Eagle Scouts. Less than 5% of all Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle.

To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must

o        Camping

o        Citizenship in the Community

o        Citizenship in the Nation

o        Citizenship in the World

o        Communications

o        Environmental Science

o        Family Life

o        First Aid

o        Personal Fitness

o        Personal Management

o        Cycling or Hiking or Swimming

o        Emergency Preparedness or Lifesaving
